We encourage your participation in the following programs: Look Good, Feel Better makeovers for women with cancer offer helpful cosmetic tips to women experiencing skin changes and hair loss from chemotherapy or radiation treatments. Coordinated through the American Cancer Society, this FREE program will help you feel better and look your best! Bereavement Support Group is an ongoing support group offered free of charge in partnership with Hospice Caring, Inc. It meets on Thursday afternoons from 4:30-6 p.m. at Montgomery General Hospital. For additional information, contact the bereavement coordinator at 301-869-4673.
There are many different ways to think and feel about having a person with cancer in your family. It's important to remember that people can learn to adjust to changes in their lives. Sometimes it takes a little work, but you can almost always find some thing or someone who can help you when you need it. Keep trying and don't be afraid to ask for help.
