SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR NURSING AND ALLIED HEALTH FIELDS
Through the Women's Board of Montgomery General Hospital, scholarships are available to all residents within the service area of Montgomery General Hospital or persons identified with Montgomery General Hospital.
Scholarship Review Process
Criteria for Selection of Scholarship Recipients
- Applicants should reside in the service area of Montgomery General Hospital or be identified with Montgomery General Hospital.
- Applicants must be planning or actively pursuing an education in an allied health field.
- A non-working recipient must maintain a minimum of 12 required credit hours per term.
- Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, and a goal of pursuing a health career.
Stipend Levels of Scholarship Grants
- The Scholarship Committee will determine the amount of each individual grant.
- Grants will be allocated proportionate to cost of tuition and fees and the financial needs of the student. Grants may be renewed for a maximum of 4 years.
- Scholarships will apply to tuition, books, and fees. Checks will be made payable to the recipient's school.
- Recipient will be responsible for any transfer of funds if a change of school is made.
