YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ABANDON YOUR INFANT!!!
Montgomery General Hospital participates in the Montgomery County "Safe Haven" Program. You can give up your newborn baby safely, legally and confidentially.
- Just contact your local hospital or police department.
- You can leave your unharmed baby within 3 days of the baby's birth.
- You don't have to give your name - the only information needed is any medical information about the newborn.
- YOUR BABY WILL BE SAFE AND CARED FOR!! You will not be criminally charged.
