YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ABANDON YOUR INFANT!!!MONTGOMERY COUNTY HAS A “SAFE HAVEN” PROGRAM.YOU CAN GIVE UP YOUR NEWBORN BABY SAFELY, LEGALLY AND CONFIDENTIALLY.Just contact your local hospital or police department.
- You can leave your unharmed baby within 3 days of the baby’s birth.
- You don’t have to give your name - the only information needed is any medical information about the newborn.
YOUR BABY WILL BE SAFE AND CARED FOR!You will not be criminally charged.
