Montgomery General Hospital

As Vice President for Human Resources, Kevin is responsible for the planning and direction of Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Organization Development, Employee Assistance, and Workers' Compensation programs for the 1,200+ Montgomery General Hospital employee population. In addition, Kevin has the responsibility of overseeing the efforts of the comprehensive Addiction and Mental Health Center and over 350 active volunteers who provide vital support in every area of the hospital.

Mr. Mell has over 30 years of service with MGH. With more than 25 years of human resources experience, he has provided management, generalist, and administrative expertise to both clinical and non-clinical service departments.
 
Mr. Mell completed both his graduate and undergraduate degrees at the University of Maryland. He possesses a Master's Degree in General Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, and a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. In addition, Mr. Mell participates as a volunteer member of the Montgomery County Business Roundtable Committee and the Primary Care Coalition.  He is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management, the American Society of Healthcare Human Resource Administrators, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
