PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
By working collaboratively with faith-based organizations, the Community Outreach Specialist will provide information about the importance of prostate cancer screenings and risk factors. This program strives to increase the number of African-American men aged 45+ who seek screening as a result of this project because they are armed with knowledge and information. "Have Faith in Your Health" will bring important information to people where they gather - in places of worship, as well as other faith-based organizations.
