Betty Anne Secrist is the Vice President for Quality and Safety at Montgomery General Hospital.  She is responsible for all aspects of performance improvement, patient safety, peer review and risk management, including Joint Commission readiness, core measures, patient safety initiatives and all regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and billing compliance.

Ms. Secrist has extensive nursing experience in Joint Commission preparation for hospitals and outpatient clinics.  Prior positions include Director of Operations for Georgetown University Medical Center Outpatient Offices and Director of Nursing and Operations for The Washington Clinic.

Ms. Secrist received her R.N. diploma from Somerset Hospital School of Nursing in Somerville, New Jersey, her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration from St. Joseph's College in North Windham, Maine, and her Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.  She holds current CPHQ certification.
